Florence + The Machine new single ‘Shake It Out’ out soon

With the excitement surrounding the release on Florence + The Machine’s second album reaching fever pitch, here’s ‘Shake It Out’ - the massive lead single to be taken from ‘Ceremonials’. Where ‘What The Water Gave Me’ dramatically played out like an ode to the ocean and is magnificent powers, ‘Shake It Out’ incites a desire to jump up and dance fervently, shaking off the shackles of a persistent mood, feeling or indeed hangover, as, she points out, “it’s hard the dance with the devil on your back so shake it out”. It’s classic Florence + The Machine, stirring the soul and senses, urging you to jump feet first into her world. Florence’s No.1 debut album ‘Lungs’ has now sold over 3 millions worldwide turning her into a globally renowned artist. She’s graced the covers of numerous publications across the world and had her music and live performances lauded at awards including the Brits, VMA’s, Q Awards and Grammy’s since its release in June 2009. After a whirlwind couple of years off the back of her inaugural offering, the epic ‘Shake It Out’ goes further to prove that Florence, and her machine, are more than ready for Round 2. Ceremonials’ will be released on October 31 with ‘Shake It Out’ being made available on October 2 which will include a stellar line up of remixes.

“Ouch” Demons Never Die Mix the brand new single from Dionne Bromfield and the lead track from the eagerly awaited UK movie, Demons Never Die, will be released on October 17th through Island Records. The new mix features the wonderful Mz Bratt and the accompanying video was shot last week and features a cameo appearance from 14 year old Kick Ass sensation Chloe Moretz. Chloe asked to appear in the video after meeting Dionne and professing to be a huge fan. The teen slasher film was directed by first time director, Arjun Rose, executively produced by Idris Elba (The Wire, Luther) and stars, among others, Robert Sheehan and Tulisa Contostavlos. The movie opens on October 28 across the UK and Ireland and the official soundtrack, released by Island Records, will feature tracks by Jessie J, Devlin, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks and more.

Dionne Bromfield came to the attention of the world’s media when she became the first signing to Amy Winehouse’s Lioness Records label. She debuted at the tender age of 13 with “Introducing Dionne Bromfield”, but it was with the release this summer of her new album, “Good For The Soul”, that the real Dionne Bromfield emerged as a proper artist in her own right. It is a sound that fits perfectly into the catalogue of a new British soul tradition, of artists like Plan B and Paloma Faith.
