"7 rings" Lyrics:
Breakfast and Tiffany’s
And bottles of bubbles
Girls with tattoos who like getting in trouble Lashes and diamonds
ATM machines
Buy myself all of my favorite things
Been through some bad shit
I should be a sad bitch
Who woulda thought it’d turn me to a savage Rather be tied up with calls and not strings
Write my own checks like I write what I sing

My wrist
Stop watching
My neck
Is flossy
Make big deposits
My gloss is poppin
You like my hair?
Gee thanks, just bought it
I see it
I like it
I want it
I got it yuh

I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
You like my hair?
Gee thanks, just bout it
I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it

Wearing a ring but not cause I’m no mrs.
Bought matching diamonds for 6 of my bitches
I’d rather spoil all my friends with my riches
Think retail therapy my new addiction
Who ever said money can’t solve your problems Must not have had enough money to solve them They say which one I say nah I want all of em Happiness is the same price as red bottoms

My smile is beaming
My skin is gleaming
The way it shine I know you seen it
I bought a crib just for the closet
Both his and hers
I want it
I got it yuh

I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it
You like my hair?
Gee thanks, just bout it
I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it

Yea my receipts be looking like phone numbers
If it ain’t money then wrong number
Black card is my business card
The way it be setting the tone for me
I don’t mean to brag but I be like
Put it in the bag (Yea)
When you see them racks
They stacked up like my ass yea (Shoot)
Go from the store to the booth
Make it all back in one loop
Gimme the loot
Never mind I got the juice
Nothing but net when we shoot
Look at my neck
Look at my jet
Ain’t got enough money to pay me respect
Ain’t no budget when I’m on the set
If I like it then that’s what I get
uh huh

Norwegian pop star Sigrid has just released the defiant new single ‘Don’t Feel Like Crying’, ahead of her highly anticipated debut album Sucker Punch, out 8 March 2019 on Island Records. The 22-year-old’s epic songs are tales of the unexpected; fearless musical collages and shout-outs to human resilience, starting at the piano in Norway, “There’s a certain grace to heartache”, says Sigrid, “A sort of…epic grace! I like good, heartfelt pop songs,” which is the foundation of Sigrid’s extraordinary debut Sucker Punch.

Today Miraa May releases her second video ‘Nobody’, filmed by friend Mahaneela (Sampha, Steve Lacy) as a montage of Miraa’s enlightening trip to LA. The personal VHS home video feel and the surrounding LA backdrop capture Miraa’s positive policy of self confidence: “I wanted the video to be extremely inclusive. My main goal was for people of all races and religions to feel represented and appreciated, and to shed light on positivity because the world has been so dark recently. It was starting to suck the life out of me. I also wanted to showcase how beautiful happiness is. When I watch the video I feel happy,” says Miraa in an interview with Notion.

‘Nobody’ is lifted from Care Package, the 5-track EP which introduces a new artist who will make you move, think, laugh, cry and feel. The Algerian born, Tottenham based singer-songwriter takes inspiration from the north London streets where she grew up, from the friendships and the experiences of a life lived.

In 2014 Miraa May debuted with her first EP titled ‘The Beginning’. The EP, alongside a handful of raw and soulful live performances, attracted the ears of Award winning, legendary producer Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Nas, The Fugees) who produced her second EP N15. Now Miraa releases her most unapologetic, frank and heartfelt collection yet. ‘Care Package’ documents a young woman living life to the full, discussing big themes like love, life, sadness, relationships, cooking, gaming or Anime (which inspired the Care Package artwork). These five songs, and if you take some time to check out Miraa’s Instagram, give an insight into the character behind this remarkable music. ‘Care Package’ is out now on Island Records.
