Indeed, Jamie approached this record in a completely different way to his previous LPs, for the first time using DIY home demos as a blueprint for the majority of its tracks… and for a while, using everything from iPhone apps, charity shop keyboards and cassette recorders as his ‘go-to’ instr

It was Popjustice who recently wrote, “Here’s something one doesn’t really think about much, until one day you notice it and you can’t unremember it: popstars do have a habit of making things looks like such hard work. The Thing About Rizzle Kicks is that they make it all look very easy.”And, it’s hard to disagree. In just a few short months Jordan and Harley have had a top 10 hit with ‘Down With The Trumpets’ (selling over 250,000 singles), reached the top of the charts with Olly Murs, supported Dizzee Rascal and The Streets in concert, headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading/Leeds, recorded with Fatboy Slim, featured on this year’s Children In Need single and been nominated for 3 MOBO awards…! With a rare combination of talent, charisma and foresight – especially at such a young age – Rizzle Kicks are doing things on their own terms, and winning. In fact it wasn’t so long ago that Jordan and Harley were at school together (they’ve known each other since they were toddlers), s
