The Golden Age. Debut Album from Woodkid/Video

Image
Woodkid, the Grammy-nominated French director/artist/producer/musician behind acclaimed videos for Lana Del Rey’s global hit Born To Die, Drake & Rihanna’s Take Care and Katy Perry‘s Teenage Dream, steps out from behind the camera with the release on Island Records of his debut album ”The Golden Age”. The eagerly awaited album follows Woodkid’s 2011 EP Iron, the video for which attracted more than 25 million views. In fact Kendrick Lamar one of the hottest and most lauded rappers to emerge in recent years, samples Woodkid’s “Iron” on his track The Spiteful Chant. The collaboration continued for the launch of Assassin’s Creed 3 when they used Woodkid’s second single “Run Boy Run” in their global advertising campaign. “The Golden Age” was written and produced by Woodkid and featured songs on the 14-track set include “Run Boy Run”, “I Love You”, “The Shore”, “Falli...

Soundtracks for Film and TV. Dexter's Morning Routine

Image

We have now just finished the follow-up series 'New Blood' but I did miss that unforgettable soundtrack. The series includes a stellar cast with the title role of Dexter played by American award winning actor Michael C. Hall.   👀👀👀 What would we do with Google and Wikepedia Read all about the Dexter series and it's cast of actors --------- Looking forward to 'Dexter: Resurrection' which was officially released 11th July 202...

With tracklistings personally selected by Steve Winwood from his five decade career , “Revolutions: The Very Best Of Steve Winwood” will be available in two high quality formats: a single CD for the casual fan and a four CD deluxe box set including 52 page book for the connoisseur, with sleevenotes by writer Dylan Jones . A child prodigy, Winwood first performed live on stage at the tender age of 8 in his father’s trad jazz band, and joined the Spencer Davis Group at 14.
