PRIDES RELEASE MESSIAH ON JUNE 23
Energetic and highly acclaimed synthpop trio, Prides, release Messiah on June 23
The band burst onto the scene with Out of the Blue which lived on the top five of the Hype Machine. They also enjoyed success on second single, The Seeds You Sow, which was met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Next up is Messiah, which is an infectious indie pop track that has a sense of impending bigness about it. And is set to be an anthem for this summer with it’s chant like repetitive vocals.

Singer, Stewart Brock says, “The idea for the lead synth line came
about because we were discussing that no one used a pitch bend on a keyboard
anymore. Usually that’s an incentive for us to try something and it stuck. We
had recently seen The Killers headline T in the Park and with that in mind we
really wanted our own ‘I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier’ moment. That was
the inspiration.
The
track is about love and self-doubt. It’s about wanting to achieve something,
and realising that maybe you can’t do that alone. Admitting that maybe you need
to throw yourself at the mercy of someone else, and ask them to be your
Messiah.”
Fresh off a tour
supporting RAC around the East Coast
of America and a pit-stop at SXSW,
they are a fantastic live band that own every venue they play. Their upcoming
